If you sign up for alerts, we collect the information you submit on our signup form — typically your name, email address, the counties you're interested in, and your alert preferences. We also keep records of the alert emails we send you. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We use your email solely to deliver the trustee-sale alerts and occasional service messages you asked for, and to operate and improve the product. Replying to confirm your subscription is how we verify your address reaches you.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We don't show third-party ads. We share data only with the vendors that run the service on our behalf (for example, our email and hosting providers) and only as needed to operate it, or where required by law.
The foreclosure notices and assessment figures on this site come from public records and public legal notices — they are not personal information you provided, and we present them for lawful informational use.
You can unsubscribe at any time by replying "STOP" to any alert, or by emailing us. We'll remove you from the alert list. To request deletion of your signup information, email hello@onthesteps.co.
